I need help with ideas of what 2 do 2 my 2005 civic lx i bought it yesterday and want 2 hook it up

welcome to the forum. i think you have to be a little more descriptive on what you mean by "hooking up". there are ALOT of things that you can do. there are also alot of things that you shouldn't do. beware of these things and you will be alright. these are things that can be classified as rice. altezza lights, wings, nasty body kits, cut springs, stickers that have no affliliation with your ride. i think there's a forum that discusses rice somewhere on here. look around, you should find it. hope that helps a little. good luck! also, if you could post some pics of your ride, we can get a better idea.

17 inch rims......ive yet to lower my car cuz i hear it ruins the ride.

it wont ruin the ride, it will actually reduce body roll and help u handle corners better, but u need to calculate how much u can lower it and what size rims u can put on it without the tire hitting the well

EDIT: unless u mean ruin the looks of the ride, some ppl dont like how it looks

you will need a camber kit too but that all depend on how low u lower it.

well camber kits are recomended WHENEVER you modify the suspension in one way or another, just overrides the hassle of buying new tires every few months.. altho if you got sticky tires that go every few months anyways.. LOL then it really dont matter
