HOW DID U PAINT UR VALE COVER SO GOOD!?!?!
Like this...

Smear the valve cover with paint stripper.

After that it looks like this....

When you have removed all the paint,go over it with some scotchbrite and put it in the dishwasher for like a half hour. Then it looks nice and clean.

Later just mask off the parts of the cover that you don`t want to paint.

Shoot primer for aluminum.

And after that, color and heat resistant clearcoat.

And voila.

omg ur king of valve covers lol how did u make the letters white white out gettin it on the cover..

Thanx for the positive reply`s guys. Feel right at home

@ JohnnyTEAMDSR: In the picture the letters look like their white. After i painted the color on i sanded the paint off the letters with some sandingpaper wrapped around a peice of wood to bring out the color of the aluminum. After that i covered it with the clearcoat. You could also mask off the letters or put some chapstick on it before painting.

Ow, and ROTM would be cool!!

This paint job is now in the DIY section so none of you will need to dig this thread up down the road.

Sadly the header isn`t going in to my car. That was a project of a friend of mine that has his own company. But problems with the manufacturer led to a stop of the project.
