Default HELP!! 1994 civic cx

I have a 1994 civic cx hatchback. It has the 1.5 engine, with 120,000 miles. Over the summer the car would not start on hot days. I finally changed the fuel pump as recomended by a few mechanics. Now, my car dies while in neutral and hesitates while driving, but only when I have 1/4 tank of gas (starts right back up). No check engine light, and no problem when I have 1/4 or more tank of gas. After changing fuel pump I changed the fuel filter. anyideas. I have had some people tell me to replace the icv???
Thanks for the help in advance.

Something real simple could be the problem....

You say it dies when you're at a quarter of a tank..Your gas gauge could be off.[]

if its only around 1/4tank how much gas can you put into the tank at that point? thats a easy way to tell if the gauge is off..... mines like 10gallons when it touches the empty mark.... in my 94, i think my 99 takes like 11-12gallons....

could be why......... just a idea. just runing outta gas or maybe you bent the pickup or gauge level arm when pulling or puting it back in the tank....

ok, new fuel pump in, and new distibutor (cam shaft sensor). put the new fuel pump in first. the car did not die anymore. Now the car at idle when hot, the idle goes up and down (no tac but it only varies 500rpms). new cam shaft sensor in yesterday and idle still jumps.
