Default He's arrived! the one the only Alexander Munro!
Hey guys. I have a '97 Civic HX coupe. It averages 42 mpg although I have gotten as much as 53 mpg by driving very consevatively. The engine is a 1.6 liter VTEC which delivers good performance when revved but it's main strong suit is reliability and outstanding mileage. The car is a 5speed manual and I love it.

welcome to the forum!..yep, you will get tones of miles out of it as long as you keep up with the maintaince..5 speed is much more fun then the auto
