Well, since I was looking for a set of winters....I guess I could buy nicer summer ones and use to ones I got for the winter, LOL.

I looked into foglights, the dealer said that it would prob be too low for our winters

Yes I say get a nice set of wheels now or winter for next spring and summer, and fog lights are an excellent idea and would be a good appearance!

A Haynes manual is perfect for any work you need done to your Civic.

Thomas, unfortunately, I am not mechanically challenged. Fortunately, I have the income to pay people who are to do my stuff I wish I could, I would save a fortune.

King, the dealer is saying to stay away from the fog lights because the kit I would have to buy for the front of the car would lower it even more and with our nasty winters, he is saying it would be beat to crap very quickly. I am, however, debating it.

I am also a little miffed with my interior illumination. My sister's husband had to unscrew one and put the bracket on backwards to get it to illuminate properly on the driver side. I am going to run up and see if they can make it purdy. any idea on how I would take a pic of it since you can only see it in the nightime ?

Hey I mean if a mechanic backing away from money and giving you honest advice I would say yes you decide for yourself. I mean if you take care of the car and keep it out of the snow when possible it won't be ruined.

Problem is that winter spans about 8 months of the year here and I won't be able to keep it out of the snow
