The name's Sara and I picked up my '01 coupe just about a year ago. My first 5spd and I'll never go back to automatic!

It's an LX.. I don't currently have any pics and I need to clean it up anyway. All this damn snow has turned my car from black to gray

There's nothing special about my car, the only thing in it that's not stock is the head unit. Oh, and some ugly wheels that were on it went I bought it, which will someday be replaced. I don't really have any plans to mod the car.. yet!

Well if any plans are ahead, there are plenty of knowledgeable people on here to help out. This place is a great resource for anything Civic.

welcome to the forum, whether you mod it or not, there's still lots of info and tech people that can help you do your own maintenance, so you can save lots of money compare to letting shops do the work

Exactly why I joined! I just got my car back from the shop a couple days ago, and after having so much work done, I want to keep the car in the best condition possible. I had the transmission replaced, new clutch, new brakes all around, struts, tie rods, ball joints and I think they found a cracked bearing? or something that was cracked.. they walked me under the car and pointed it out. Excuse me if I may be wrong, I'm not the smartest when it comes to cars- again what this forum is for

Either way, my Civic drives like a completely different car now and I LOVE IT! It was pretty hard to get back into my car though, seeing as they put me in an '09 Accord for a week as my rental car <3

I'm assuming a lot of these problems stem from the previous owner(s) so.. now it's up to make to keep up the maintenance on it
