hey guys i am new to the website...i bought my first honda bout 6 months ago and its a 1999 si...im looking for people around here to roll around with and i need some gauges installed into my car so if anyone can help with that that would be awesome...little bit bout my car is its semi built up B16a2 ...got intake manifold and throttle body and cold air intake...headers..exhaust...thats all i can think of off the top of my head for now..but hit me up guys looking for people to roll with

 

I am not sure if we have many members in the IL area. However, we would be happy to help with the gauge(s) install. I just installed a bunch of gauges onto my 99 EX coupe.

What gauges are you looking to install? Any pics of your car?

 

i got trans temp...air fuel ratio...and volt gauge... its a pillar pod and im at school so the pics will have to wait till im at home...

 

Transmission temp I wouldn't be able to help with. A/F most likely gets wired into the OEM narrowband (which btw, will just be a pretty light show and not tell you any valuable info), and the volt gauge should go to the alternator or battery. That should be a simple one.

I was hoping you would have at least one of the same gauges as me so I could have been of more help (Oil psi, oil temp, EGT, wideband o2 gauge, boost)

Just wondering, what brand of gauges did you get?

 

i got glowshift and one apc...im getting more when i have extra cash lying around...i plan on getting oil pressure and a few other ones
