Default HI

Hi I am new to this Forum. I recently bought a 93 Honda Civic EX from a Co-worker of my B/F.
(My B/F is a Mechanic at a Nissan/Suzuki/Hyundai dealership.)

It is in excellent shape, except that the last owner had wrecked it. The front end. He was going to restore it himself. He put a lot into it. New hood, fender, bumper. The body work is complete except for paint.

My B/F took the engine, and exhaust system yesterday.

It needs all new exhaust system. I ordered a clutch kit off EBay. It's made by Exeedy. I hope it will be ok. It seems like it will be.

In the meantime, I am in paperwork limbo. I am waiting for my salvage certificate. Then we have to send in the R-title paperwork.

I can't wait to drive it. (I drove it around my neighbor hood. I love it.)

This looks like a great place to get info.

It's a great little car. My boy friend just discovered something about it today while mounting on an engine stand. He is pretty sure that the engine was replaced, and it is a v-tec engine.
It has 93 written on the side of the block, which he says is a typical junkyard marking. And it has a variable control valve selonoid. Which is cool!

I am hoping the R-title paperwork won't take too long to be processed. Today some guy at work said it took 2 1/2 months for him to get his title.

I DON'T WANT TO WAIT THAT LONG!
LOL

My B/F Jeff says we need a lot of parts.

I don't really have any plans for performance mods. Jeff might though, he's already talking about taking from me in a year and making a project car lol! I told him I don't think so!

Thanks for the greetings! Have a great eveing!

Here's some pictures of my baby. They aren't the best, but they give you an idea.
