I finally got a car!!! hehe

i landed up getting a white del sol project car for 1800.

Needs body work and paint but thats it its a awesome running car and trustdestruction was right once you drive it you cant get out of it love the sol

Engine bay needs to be cleaned but it runz SUPER SUPER Smooth and pulls pretty good :D

I Will probably start trying to sand it down tommorrow and start working on this body lol

Body looks decent; a few dings and dents, but it's nothing that can't be fixed, right?

And it needs new wheels, a drop, and a frankenstein swap. w00t that rhymed :D... but seriously, cr-vtec that thing... Torque. Monster. :D

lol yeah just dents here and there :D cant wait to start doing it

and i will probably either leave it on those wheels or put it on my civic steelies w/hubcaps until i get it all painted and what not than ill put my rims on it

not to shaby... HOW MUCH you pay for it? i wouldnt care to much for the bondo cracked fender..
only thing i dont like about the sol is the 2seater fact.

nice, rims, drop, minor body work and the sol would look new again.

Pretty good deal. Once its painted and everything it will look nice with your wheels on it. VTEC it. I plan on doing the LS/Vtec by the end of summer hopefully.

So... do you still have the Civic, or is it gone?

I am jealous, cause I can't get a Sol. Unless there is a new law stating that a 3 year old can ride in the front seat that I don't know about.

Nice looking Del Sol though. It always reminded me of the Porsche 914 my Dad used to own and try to fix up. Probably because you can remove the top and put it in the trunk. lol

The del sol is sweet and I like the color. You have to find those rare fog lights that they put on them. Also the mapping lights for the door.

If you take off your bumper you will see the cut out of the fog lights and it should look like this.

lol i taking out interior right now trying to avooid breaking this ONE clip lol its so annoying but dam i had to take everything out to undo the previous owner's previous, owner's amp wiring and to remove his bolted in deck lol imma prob order a new carpet today as this one has a hold under neath the floor mat

lol and took my car to friedns house yesterday.... lol he wasnt home but im real good friends with his parents so they proceeded to make fun of me for having a girl car haha... and i must agree it is a girl car but still awesome

what color white should i go for? i dont want to do color change because of the whole annoyance of engine bay ect. ill just give it a good white haha

Championship White. lol You do have a girl car, but it is the only girl car I would consider driving.

Championship white's overrated. What you need to do is have the thing sprayed Phoenix Yellow.

Ok great, but I wanted to give him a suggestion which kinda fit what he was asking. The only white I basically know by name is champ. white.

If I had a choice, I would choose like a dark army green color, or a Satin black.

Hey reaper, do you know if those are Rota Grids on that Integra? I kinda like them, but I doubt gold would look right with my Silver.

lol that was directed more at nike... besides, I don't think I've ever seen a Phoenix Yellow sol, whereas I've seen dozens of white sols.

And I think they're grids. They're definitely not true TE-37's anyway.

or how about some cadilac white pearl... not sure of actual name but its a got a wicked @ss pearl to the white.

but yes i full color paint swap does suck. i planned on painting my civic gunmetal but the more and more work i do to my truck i think im going to leave the civic more plan jane and just do a quick stock silver slapped on it and call it a day just because im so tired of the primerd front end look! tho i still might paint the car fully SOME DAY. depends if i keep it or not.

i like my satin black and satin white. rattle can pain job for under $30. plus i love the chance to show off the truck a bit :D

I am not saying that Nike should rattle can it. Definitely a professional satin black paint is what I am recommending.

ya please no rattle can paint job!!!!!!! you either are really good with spray paint cans and can make it decent/poor quality or you do a HORRIBLE GARBAGE JOB!
im decent with a rattle can but still a real paint job looks twice as good as i can ever do. with spray cans youll always have different shades and orange peel and not a deep shine. plus not to mention the paint will chip very easily!

• Id love to paint it a different color ... if i did army green would be the ish but since i dont wanna pull out whole engine and everything i gotta keep it white as much as im not a fan of ANY light colors lol ill live with it
• and anyone know what a profile infraction is and what it does? lol
