i live in oregon and i would like to know what the legal limit for hid's is?

HIDs are not even legal on your car. They are only allowed by law to be installed in HID-specific headlight housings.

aftermarket HID's in stock halogen housing are illegal in US period. but if you want hid's and not make it too bad stick with under 6000k. i got 4500k and i think it looks pretty good
