Hi,

I've got a 2004 Honda Civic LX 2dr. I've only put in new headlights, no other modifications though (if you can call that a modification). I have some questions if anyone can answer me. 1.) What are cheap ways to add horsepower? 2.) Is a cold air intake worth it? 3.) Can a cold air intake be used with a "turbonator"? 4.) Can you use a cold-air intake with a turbocharger?

Thanks a lot,

BrennanCivic

some cheep things would probly be cold air intake and exhaust but it would depend on your engine size to be worrying about all that stuff because you dont want to put alot of stress on a small engine

Excellent questions:

1) Usually most ppl start out with CAI (cold air intake) and cat back exhaust. After that your options are endless.

2) A CAI is much more worth it then a short ram intake IMO. Your getting a lot cooler air into your engine which will combust better then the warm air the SRI would be sucking in.

3) I believe you can but I'm not sure

4) No, a turbo is your cold air intake. A "CAI" for a turbo is your intercooler so I guess a front mount intercooler is equalivant to a CAI more so then a top or side mont intercooler.
