Default i dont understand micro's?

the last few months ive been in boot camp for the navy so when i got out there is stuff that happen while in, like i started to read this new magazine called siphon, and there showing whats really goin on in the import micro scene, my question is why do people want to buy cars's like the fit, yaris, xa, xb? there horse power is disappointing, like thefit only has 109 hp! there not bad but it seems like the civic is a better car to build up. thanks for the info.

I think that every new fad from the car world that comes up gives people something to think and ponder about..this will go away unless the car manufactures and the government really push the sales of these cars..most of those types of cars are next to ugly, so they 1st have to do something about there looks before anyone will start to promote them..as Usual just an opinion ...

i dont think that they are ugly, i just dont see why you would build up something that the hp and tq is that sad. plus the fit isnt much lighter than my civic and i got more power and my car is 8 years old

micros are new here but not in the U.K.

there's a need for them, but they may or may not be for you. they have lesser power but that doesn't mean they're any lesser of a vehicle than a civic, because civics have less horsepower than lots of other cars.

the reason they have smaller engines is because they fill a segment need: smaller, more compact people hauler that's thrifty on gas.

the original civics that were first imported to the U.S. were much smaller than the Honda Fit, as well as had way less horsepower.

personally, i'd consider buying a FIT if I needed something sporty and thrifty, but anything i drive needs rear disc brakes because i drive so hard. and the Fit doesn't come with them.

i have a 07 fit sport and even with the 1.5 109 hp engine it fun as hell to drive. but i agree it needs better brakes in the rear. with the stock suspension it handles get

they are nice and i do see the point of the fuel economy portion of them. Do you thing the micro scene is here to stay, reading some articals on scion they look like there done with the scene. the new xb looks like a land rover and the xa is no longer. the xd that is replacing it doesnt look like that would be sporty

as long as gas keeps hovering around $3 a gallon, the micro scene is here to stay.
