Ok as you know I bought a 1997 civic ex coupe 5spd, and want more power I am willing to modify almost anything except addding a catback system or doing anything to the headers.

 

why not the exhaust? exhaust and headers are where most of your gains will be.

 

Lol, what good is it to modify an engine if it can't breath right? That is where you normally have to look at first. Although for whatever reason you don't want to mod the exhaust, then I'd say supercharge it or a shot of nitrous. Most everything else is just icing on the cake.

 

Well lets say I just wanted a catback system how much will a good one run me even with installation.

Well basicaly I want more power except I dont want to mess with the exhaust, b/c cops down hear are real A-Holes, Havin that exhast is like saying hey look at me I am speeding.

 

If you arent speeding then ya dont have anything to worry bout.
