Default Intro

Hey, i currently have a 1996 honda civic ex coupe, im working on making it the fastest car possible, i currently have xxr 508 with nexxen n3000's, stock engine, and the rest of the car is pretty much stock so i have a lot of work to do, and also a lot of room to learn as much as possible to make it into what i would like.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Im planning on putting a duraflex r34 body kit on it, a b18c5 type r engine, stage 3 racing clutch, Drag gen 3 turbo kit, and much more.

First off welcome to HCF you will learn plenty here and the first thing you will hear is please avoid body kits, they are just ugly and too much for a civic. Try a front lip possibly a Spoon or Mugen they give a great look.

I'm looking for a build most likely, with around 500 with an engine, turbo, idk if you can put a twin turbo on a tuner engine, exhaust. and whatever mods i can do to make it around that HP, while sounding good at the same time. plan on putting new cams, cam gears, valves, valve springs, and all new stuff on the engine so i pretty much build it, but i dont know exactly what to do to acquire such HP.

Well the best thing if you want real power is to swap in a new engine step one, I would say a B18 or the GSR engine: http://www.tokyomotorimports.com/eng...ON,%20ECU.html
Then from there you can add the basics anywhere from your exhaust, intake, header. Just do some research and see what parts give you the best power for your vehicle. Then once you have all that if that's still not enough power boost! :http://www.turbo-kits.com/96-00_civic_turbo_kits.html

thanks man, ive been looking up parts all night trying to find what i can, figured id get the gsr since its cheaper than the type R, with a drag gen 3 turbo. what would be the best internals for the block, ive looked at skunk 2 so far, and do you know what the specs are for a gsr engine, for a rotating assembly?

Here's the specs for the GSR engine just scroll down to the B18C GSR
http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/engine.html

And for internals just google what internals give the most power for the GSR.

Id get the Rev Hard Turbo. Seems to show and offer a 1 year warranty and also the price is a lot slimmer.
