Just bought a 97 ex and thought I would welcome myself to the forum. I am looking to spend $5,000 grand within this year for upgrades and would appreciate any helpful thoughts and insights.

Admin or mod please move this thread to the New Introduction one I just saw like right now. Sorry :S

Welcome to the forum!! Before you start spending the money, find out what you reall want to do. Add some more power, better suspension, looks ect... This way you do it right the first time. Congrats on the new car!

Welcome aboard, hope you enjoy your stay.

I agree with mill$civic:

Do some searches and get a good idea of what it is you would like to do to your whip. Once you have that you can start to formulate a nice checklist of goddies you want to get and youll be on yur way to a nice modified ride.

Just take your time and do alot of research and you will not let your ride down.

I am thinking of having my spending plan go towards getting more power out of the car first. I don't want to get ahead in one specific area and creating a bottleneck for another area. By the way what is that one site where you can customize your virtual ride with parts you plan on getting?
