hey
im a New Zealander or kiwi and i have a 1989 si hatch DOHC 1600cc it goes pretty hard for a little car.im doing a few mods to it like adding a air filter,tints,exhaust and sounds.i am wondering
1.can i add a turbo to the factory engine
2.how to fix the rev counter because it just jumps
3.how many horses (horse power) is my engine making

Hey, welcome to the forum. If you want to add a turbo you should beef up the internals(crank, pistons, conecting rods). You should try getting a Liquid Filled Autometer Tachometer to get accurate revs, make sure you have it calibrated once it's in. To find out your power find a local shop with a Dyno.
