Default Mileage for a civic

I have a 98 civic ex with 125,000 miles on it. Im just wondering if you guys think thats too many miles for a car to start "hooking" (modding) it up.

Thanks

Well you could get a rebuild kit for the engine. Its not too too much for you to do something to it. The usual bolt-ons wont hurt, its until you start ragging it out and screwing around with internals that you may run into problems. If theres any block damage, you can always take it apart, get the head done at a machine-shop and get the block acid dipped. The acid dip will re-strengthen it. The usual CAI and ehxaust wont hurt. What are your plans for the car? Only then can i really help you out...peace

like white said, it really depends on what plans you have for it. daily driver? track, etc. do you plan on keeping it for a long time?

No. There's no such thing as too many miles.

Im a daily driver and lets see, I have a full catback, 17' rims, SRI, and Halo Projectors on. Im not loooking to race, but I mean ide like the car to be a little faster in the lower end RPM's.

Thanks BROS
