hey, i had a nice muffler on my car, but got 3 tickets for it bein to loud. a few ppl told me to get silencers, but there like 30-40 each n i need 2, i just want to know if thats goin to shut my muffler up enough to shut the pigs up,andstill sound nice n still give mea bit of hp. and also does neone know what the decibel level is for this kind of thing? thanks

heres a better plan...
if you just have a muffler, and you put a silencer in it, you might as well go back to stock, period, its just stupid. next thing to try would be to get a catback, because it will help you in performance, and come with a resonator so all will sound a lot better.

yea, just go to an exhaust shop and have them put in a resinator...or just buy a cat back like My04civic said...because it will come with one, it wont decrase your HP and you should be quiet enough to not get you ticketed...i say it should be quiet enough beacuse i dont know what your db level limits are in your area, no one here gets a ticket for anything but traffic violations, and warnings for blue/red strobe lights.
