I have a 1.6 Sohc Vtec (D-16) . I have coustmized it a little with

Cold Air Intake
Hot Wires
4-2-1 headers
Msd ignition
Aem Cam gear

These are the only modification that i have done!!

Now i have a new challenge from an another party they wanna drag with me with there 1.8 vvti - Toyota

Im new to this and i dont know what to do next !!

Need help!!

 

Throw a turbo on that baby!

 

Maybe finish the exhaust?

 

Yeah, high flow cat and cat-back exhaust. How much money are you willing to allot to beating this other "party?" and what does he have done to his car?

 

I already have high flow cat and cat-back exhaust installed!!


About the drags here there are only 2 rules here for drag

No Nos
No Turbo

only NA/Tune

and mine is only 1.6 sohc vtec they say i dont stand a chance


things are gettin real hot around here the other party is ready for the race . but i told em give me one more week im not ready yet!!

that Toyota is with stage one complete thats for sure!!

is there any chance that my 1.6 sohc vtec will stand a chance against 1.8 Dohc vvti toyota Altis!! with the 1st stage complete!!

You could fish his car. You won't win, but atleast you'll feel good.

 

man u can try a intake manifold and pulleys, fuel rail, and if u have the money or the time try some cams and **** rip the seats out so it will b alittle lighter other than that some injectors but thats another story for that man hopefully he will miss a gear or 2 good luck

 

Well, you said "no turbo" what about a super charger?

Start ripping stuff out. Seats, carpet, jack, door panels, spare... no, better yet, find another spare and run those on the back.

Are we working with an unlimited budget here? Drop in an H22A. Can you get a cam in there in a week? Intake manifold? Both?
