Talking new 2010 4DR

whats up guys. I just stumbled upon this website and decided to sign up! I have a 2010 4DR. I recently put in ann Alpine Type R 10' sub along with a kicker ZX750.1 amp. It sounds great with no need for new speakers. My next addition will either be tail lights, rims (being hubcaps right now), or a manual switch. Any suggestions or recommendations on any of these things are greatly appreciated!! thank you

a manual swap will certainly make the car more fun to drive. However, I dont know what all is involved in swapping transmissions on that new of a civic. Could be easy, could be a PITA.

I wouldn't put tail lights on. Most aftermarket tail lights look like crap IMO.

Rims are always a great mod, but don't go too big or you will end up regretting it. I hate my 17's and can't wait for my 15's to get here.

From my research, the tranny swap is the same as any civic '06+. I would definitely get all the parts used except the actual stick itself and the center panel that it comes out of unless i find a good one. Just wondering.. would i be able to put in a six speed tranny? its a 5 speed auto and i dont know if you need a different engine or anything like that.

In terms of rims, I agree with you. I am not looking to have two sets of tires because theres no way i can drive around winter with performance summer tires.

As for the tail lights. I did see some on the net that i kinda liked but i'm definitely gonna wait till i see them in person on a car for that decision. I am however interested in getting HiD headlights. does anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you!
