new '90 civic si owner
Hey everybody,
In just a few days I hope to take possession of a 1990 Civic SI. It's got 267000 km on it, but looks sturdy as anything. The stereo has been upgraded and there are Integra rims on it, but other than that I believe that it is stock. I'm ampd about getting it!
So, my mind wanders off to mods, knowing that this is an very mod-friendly car ...
Any suggestions for initial engine mods? I'm not looking to outrace anybody, but just do some simple and quick customization that might improve performance.
I'll let you know when it's in my driveway!
Pat

Love the 4th Gens. Sounds like a sweet ride. Your si trumps my dx but mines only got 198000km whoo.
As mill$civic said I/H/E is best way to go for your first mods, both for the extra HP and the stronger
beefier sound. A lil window tint and lowering dont hurt anything either

I've read differing reviews on the whole intake question ... if I'm not overmodding, should I just drop in a K&N air filter? If I stick to the stock airbox, do others like other filters instead?
Thx!
