Exclamation New 99 Honda Civic Owner in MN

Hello to all the members on this forum. I recently purchased a1999 HONDA CIVIC EX L4 1.6L N FI (D16Y8) VTEC. The car had 90,000 miles and it came with a MSD Ignition System. The car is currently getting 40 MPG Average on my 20 mile drive to work @ 55-60 MPH with premium gas (92 Octane). I have recently ordered an AEM short ram intake for it and installed it a week ago.

I am looking forward to installing a aftermarket header (Megan Racing/Others) and high flow cat/exhaust system to increase the breathing of the engine to open up the low rpm band while increasing the MPG.

I have a Scangauge II real time data gathering that I have connected to the car at all times to monitor the AVERAGE MPG, COOLANT TEMPERATURE, VOLTAGE OF ALTERNATOR, AND INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURES.

I am intrested in increasing HP with efficiency. I also want to know if there are other civic drivers that have real time data gathering programs that record car parameters while driving on laptops.

I really enjoy owning a Honda Civic and look forward to meeting/discussions with memebers.
