Default new to asking a computer screen for help

yeah im new on here, bought a wrecked 2000 civic ex for $1500 last year with my taxes and just finally had a new front end put on it this year with my taxes. so now i have a perfectly straight and painted car but it's still slow, sad part is the whole week my car was in the body shop i rented an 08 toyota 4runner that was faster than my car well the fun begins on thursday with some lowering springs and a new clutch (pilot bearing bad) but im looking at either putting a whole cat back system on or waiting to have enough for a turbo kit. the car has 113k on it, it sees 7000rpms daily, is it worth it to start spending money?

Around 100k, a Honda motor is just getting broken in.

You won't be able to run turbo on a stock exhaust... or it's not recommended. A D-series won't get power out of basic bolt ons, so turbo or swap... Unless you're DOHC?

thanks for the input, i figured on the stock exhaust, i just don't wanna jump the gum and buy a header and stuff now if the turbo kit i choose comes with one. but i work at a shop so the car is in the air almost everyday. like the clutch kit im doin on thursday, i could not imagine doin it on the ground. i pulled a 89 accord trans out of a junk yard on the ground once... never again....

off topic but every pic i try to upload of my car it says the file is too big? i hate computers!
