Default new car

hey i'm kinda new to civics but not so much new to this site. anyways i'm gettin a new car and who would've guessed its goin to be a civic. but i want the hatchback but it has to be in manual. well lately i havent been able to find any in manual so i'm here to ask would it be pointless to upgrade an automatic car cause eventually (and i'm talkin like a year) this car will be turbo'd and hopefully pretty much done (probably take more than a year) but i'm also plannin to keep this car for awhile and i've always wanted a manual car but i cant seem to find any. thanks for you help

welcome to HCF! If you are looking for a manual civic hatchback, just keep looking, dont rush into getting a car that you wont be happy with later down the road.

thanks guys, yea i'm not rushing more like impatient cause i dotn wnat to wait any longer to get it lol. i've actually planned out exactly what i'm goin to do to it, and know the stuff i want, how much it costs and how much in total i'll be spending on this car in the near future lol only problem is, is if i get an auto car then most of it will be cosmetic mods rather than perfomance other than intake, headers and exhuast

Welcome...
for ur Auto or Manuel prob., I would say don't get a auto knowing ur gonna convert it to Manny. Ur just wasting ur money, get a manny in the first place, that way u can go straight to modding. Exterior is nice, but when ur car is lookin good when ur cruisin and somebody wants to go...then what? U Get ur azz handed to u. That's my 2 cents, hope it helps out

yea i wasnt plannin to get an auto to man swap cause that would just drain out my money. i'm lookin for manuals but i cant find any. but i was askin if theres any point of modding a auto?? and if that ever happend i wouldnt go cause of the basic fact that i would get killed. but i'm not sure on what i want to do first, all exterior mods or engine mods?

Its all up to you on what mods you want, but yeah just keep looking everywhere and you will find some real good manuals out there. (and they are cheaper than auto)

If you have your heart set on a manual id keep looking until you find one, you wont be happy with anything else.
