I think the best way to get started (or at least the way I got started) is to get some HTML editing software (Coffeecup, Dreamweaver, etc.) and buy a book at your local book store on HTML. Once you have mastered the basics, start looking at some more advanced things such as CSS. As for filling the page, get Photoshop and learn Actionscript (get Flash) and you can do just about anything.

Edit: Oh yeah, my friend made the logo for www.wherethesalesare.com and www.themoggies.com We are also working on a few other projects.
Neato, I've looked into Flash, it seems to be the "thing" now a days. Do you do HTML websites or Flash websites? Which is easier?

Well you wouldn't make a whole website with just Flash. You make websites with HTML and you can implement Flash animations, etc. into the site.

For example, the little intro thingy on the Internet Media Services site is a Flash animation.

Ooooo yes there is tons of money to be made in web design. I've heard estimates as high as $3000 for an entire website.

I'm not sure if what I was looking at was all flash, but I believe I've seen a few flash websites. They looked really up beat and modern. Someday I'd like to make flash websites.

How much do you get payed for just making an image like on Wherethesalesare.com? I purchased Adobe Photoshop several months ago, but haven't got the hang of it yet. I wouldn't mind going into the image development department.

Hey Amanda..just a question. How much do you earn with inserting the Adsense ads in between posts? How about total earnings with adsense? I run many affiliate powered sites and almost make a living off of it and was just wondering what your stats are like? (Although you're not suppose to disclose that kind of AdSense information, feel free to PM me to chat it up about it )
