OK, so here I am with my 1986 Honda Civic Si. Old school like none other, but in pretty nice shape and very little of that "honda rust". I have to admit that I have always had a bias against Civics. I drove a Nissan 240sx for a while, then I had several different RX7's (I like to buy and sell cars by the way) but I have yet to own a civic. I bought this car with the intention of doing a quick sale but after a weekend of cruising around in it I just decided to keep it for awhile. Anyways, I should have some pictures up by this afternoon.

 

Old school Civic are awesome. You should just keep it as a classic.

OK, here are some pictures of the car. I plan on replacing the hatch, where there is some rust, and the front two fenders. I have a friend who does body work and I am going to use his facilities to replace one of the floor pans (yay for free stuff). The car runs like a champ, it has only 109k on it, and the body is pretty good. I figure it is going to be a bit of a restoration project off the bat but we will just see how it goes. Oh, and what sort of performance mods are available/feesable onthis engine? It is the 1.5L fuel injected model. I think the engine code is EW4.

That isn't the engine code, it should start with D15 something. Check on the block. A lot of people swap in the D16Z6 engines out of 92-95 civic si's and boost them for performance on a 4th gen civic like yours. That looks to be in really good shape for how old it is.
