welcome
advice: do all recommended maintenance no matter what, and your civic will live forever.

When i bought my Del Sol it was sooooo neglected maintenance wise, what a shame... but it was $2200 and I couldn't pass up the deal. I'm buying the last parts on my list tomorrow to complete all the maintenance it needed: timing belt/tensioner, all 4 rotors. you won't imagine how many other things i had to fix before this.

oh hell yeah i know, thanks! the thing i love about the 08 civic is that its got an oil life percentage meter which notifies me when i need an oil change, so that helps!

that's pretty neat, it must be nice to know your oil's lubrication efficiency by reading a dial
lol
