hello all civic enthusiasts!!! I recently bought a NICE 94 civic coupe. has 107k miles: been busy with it!! custom paint, neuspeed coilovers, mugen seats, AEM cold air intake, falken 17 wheels and 215/45R17 bridgestones, muffler. Got some questions about my motor, and I am wanting to get some feedback on upgrades for the motor. I don't want to drag race it, just would like it to be quick, maybe 200 hp. the engine is a 1.5 L, sohc, but I was told that a ZC block which is what I have is a vtec block. Any help with that would be appreciated too.

Hey welcome to HCF and sounds like a pretty good set up so far on the Civic, Pics would be great!
You could do whats called a "mini-me" swap and put a Y8 head on the ZC block which would then you could get vtec, but that is not going to give you the 200+WHP your looking for so I would look into a full engine swap for the best output, then possibly boost.

If you have the 1.5L (D15B7) it doesn't have VTEC.
For 200 HP you're gonna need to turbo it.
