well plans changed and my motor went sooner than expected but i can't complain at 257,000 miles. I just bought an ls motor and got a rebuild kit got the motor tranny all the axles halfshaft everything for 1100.00. But the only thing i need is the pedal assembly because i have an automatic and im switching it over. What year pedal assembly do i need and does anyone have some that they can sell. I know the 88-91 civics and crx work but are there any others???

I don't need it anymore cause i bought the whole 90 acura integra and the pedals from that one fit. Anyways my car so far is progressing. I did the rear disk brake conversion, i guted the interior so that i can paint it all black i took out all the auto tranny stuff and replace the pedals and hand brakes.... I think imma have to make a new hole for the shifter cause where the automatic hole was i think will leave the shift linkage too farr up. Today imma paint my interior all black. Im waiting on the oil pump for the motor cause im rebuiling it then after that my 90 civic is gonna be ls 5 speed. better than my automatic dual point. lolololol.... imm post some pics later on.....

It looks good. Now you just need to repaint it. What color is on your mind?

I don't think it's very "sleeper like" if everybody can see the interior has been gutted.

Ah, good point. Good idea as well. You could clean up the original carpet and put it back in... that way you won't have live wires hanging around everywhere.

This looks like a great project, keep us posted.
