New to forums
Hey whats up? My name is Josh and I'm a recruit for a local police department whereI live. I have a 1994 Toyota Celica GT but it has played out andI want something newer. So now I am working a deal on a 2000 Civic EX 5spd Manual. When I get it, I will post up some pics and show you what I'm gonna be working with. Good to be on these forums and hope to learn some more about the Honda lifestyle. My realm of knowledge is pretty much celicas, so any info or pointers with hondas' would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Powertrain Options and AvailabilityCivics had a choice of three 1.6-liter, overhead-cam, four-cylinder engines. A 106-horsepower version went into CX, DX, and LX models. The Civic HX coupe got a 115-horsepower engine, while the EX used a 127-horsepower four. Three transmissions were available: 5-speed manual, 4-speed automatic, or (for HX coupe only) Honda's CVT unit. In mid-1999 Honda added the Si with a 160 horsepower version of the EX engine. It came only with a 5-speed manual.

thank ya'll for the warm welcome!
Nate: Thank you for that info! I'm getting the car today, so I will throw my questions on here as soon as they start popping in my head...
Absoulute: I have always wanted to police since grade school, I really can't explain it but if i had to try I would say it is a calling. Something just always told me to be a cop. It is dangerous of course but I am willing to lay it out to protect the citizens. I have always said thought......firefighters are a hell of alot crazier!!! LOL.
Again thank ya'll for the warm welcome!!

i dunno if cops or firemen are crazier, at least with a fire you can see it, with a bullet, not so much.. but good luck out there...
