Default New Guy From AZ

Hello. Wulffe here (pronounced like Wolfy...not waffle not wuffle...Wolfy). Anyway, I'm looking to learn about cars in general, and I figured, I own a Honda Civic 2005 LX (I think) so why not a Honda Civic Forum? I got the car from my brother who apparently had a run in with a stop sign that, "jumped into the middle of the road," so the car now has a wonderful beauty mark on the right side. He also gave it to me with over 100,000 miles on it. So in my attempt to learn about how a car runs, I ask you to please be patient with me. I've never even opened the hood of my car. Any ideas where I should start? I will try to add some pics tomorrow. Thanks! Wulffe

Hey welcome to HCF!

I would say the best start is suspension, wheels and tires on that puppy!

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, the tire is the rubber part correct? And why wouldn't I start with the passenger side door?
