New Guy! Caretaker of wifes Civic. Help.
Hello Honda-people. Brand new guy. I'm in charge of maintenance on the wifes 2002 High-mileage Civic. We got 125,000 on it and climbing. Her driver-side door speaker must be blown. Sounds like crap. I'll swap it out after checkin-in here ... first, to make sure there's no Land Mines to encounter taking-of the door trim and swapping-out the speaker. She's got a lazy window on that side; too ... so, I want to pull the door trim, swap the speaker and adjust or lube the window so it don't stick. If I need a Tool for this; I'll get one.
What do I do to get the door off? What size/Ohm speaker? What's the trick to get that window to not bind and be lazy about going up?
Mechanical ability: Very high.
Tools: Complete set; mechanical. Few auto-body.
Happy New Year

I had planned on the silicone treatment to all the places where the window travels.
I need to know about pulling that door and replacing the speaker.
Anyone had a Factory Speaker go bad and have to pull the door and remove the speaker?
