Default New guy Chris

I'm new to Civic and just getting on the site to learn a few new things. I have always had Hondas in the family , but I've never had one for myself untill now. I just got my 98 Civic with 118 k on it last week, and have a few questions. First is the blinkers. Drivers side works fine, but passengers side blinks really fast as if it had a blown bulb, but front and back are both working. If I turn on the headlights, it blinks slower , but is still a strange blink. It is the same speed as the working side , but it is a very short blink. Any tips on finding this ?

Might sound dumb, but does the problem switch sides when you swap both front and back bulbs with eachother?

Rear turn bulbs put on opposite sides, and the same with fronts. It would be interesting to know if the problem changes, or if there is an electrical issue.
