hey guys, great forum here. Im going to be buying me a civic here soon. My Altima is about to die on me. What year is one of the better years to buy, I would like to find a hatch but If I cant Ill get a lx or something. I plan on working on it, so as long as it runs good and is clean Ill buy it. Looking around 2-3K I want to spend. So help me out here, what year and model do I want

 

96-00 DX/CX are both hatches and will probably be best suited if you don't plan on swapping. as it is a more "comfortable" car. Neither would have power locks/windows/etc though..

 

When you say swaping do you mean the engine. Because I will eventually swap that out when it dies. I plan on building it up with time.
