Default New guy mod help

Hi everybody,
I just bought a 98 EX as my daily driver. I plan on putting most of my money into my other car, but this thing sure could use some help. Which inexpensive mods will give me the most bang for the buck as far performance. I tried doing a search prior to posting, but if i missed something already posted I appologize in advance.

Beside the CAI or SRI, look into a new set of headers and exhaust.

Thanks for the welcome everyone,

My other car is an '05 Lotus Elise that I just added an LSD to. So that's my money pit at the moment. Will the CAI or exhaust actually gain hp or torque? Or will it just make it sound better? Not trying to sound smart, but the Lotus ECU recalibrates after about 100 miles and you end up with zero gain.

Thanks again,

Yeah I'm not really looking to make any kind of statement with this car. The less attention the better actually. I just want it to go faster without spending too much $$$. I would like this to be more of a sleeper car.

Thanks,

Well as long as you dotn put a huge wing on it and make it a bright color, it will look nice.
