welcome to the forum! Sadly, you have the D17Y7. INwhich is the bastard of all Honda engines. Dont worry though, there is plenty of stuff you can do. But there is a roof over you with heavy modding.

And yep I gots the 1.7 sohc... Its black on black very shrp looking in its present condition, but I'm definately wanting to fix it up

 

modding** he means you can only do so much to it... unlike the k20, which has no end...

 

Sorry if i sound stupid, but are you saying that its going to be a bitch to upgrade the parts?? i.e. Body kits, air intake, sh*t like that??

 

They're talkin about the engine, it's harder to mod and alot less aftermarket

 

dont worry..youll be able to find LOTTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSS of parts for your civic, there just saying that if you want to get alot of performance parts for your motor,if dosent have alot of potental, once again,thats just for the motor
