TOrched, yea your in the same boat. You both have 7thgens... However, finding parts for an EX is much easier than finding parts for an LX.

Great... I wonder if its too late to trade it in for another one??? lol

Looks good - I like the black... I'm wondering if mine is lx as well... The people at the dealer ship told me Ex but I mean I bought it used and it wasn't at a honda dealer either.. so who knows?!?! It has the same body as yours jay_jay but 02...

Looks nice the only thing I can say is run the VIN # through NADA.com or Carfax and it should tell you if its an ex or lx

BTW I added better pics to my photo album

Does your valve cover say v-tec on it?

Now Im hearing all these people saying I need to do an engine swap... 2 questions is that expensive??? and is that difficult to do???

Yes and Yes. Im guessing people are saying swap to a k20 right? A k20a1 will run you almost 6 grand with the 6 speed tranny. And thats if you install it yourself.

yep that exactly what theyre saying i need to get... Wouldn't it be easier just to find another honda that's wrecked with a better engine in it??? I mean it's got to be cheaper...lol

And my uncles a mechanic so he would be doing the work on it for me...lol

its great having a mechanic in the family...
