Hey guys im new to the forum and civics but ive heard that these cars can be alot of fun i just got a 92 4 door honda civic lx i want to do an engine swap and go all out but i really have no idea about cars so i really jus want to know what i can throw under my hood and what i can do to it and how much it would cost so if any of you are willing to help holler back

 

all depends on your budget, you can do all kinds of swaps, your can do force induction, swap, forced induction with a swap. There are lots of options. Your budget and how much you can spend is basically what is going to limit you. Give us some pics and a budget and we'll give some ideas for ya

 

I have a 92 4 dr dx.You can do a mini me if you got the d15b7 you can put a vtec d16z6 head like 200 for the head you need a ecu also so like 550 for the swap if you do it yourself.Or you can put the whole d16z6 motor for 450 just for the motor.Or you can go more expensive with a b series swap which will be more.There is other d series motors also you can swap thats just an idea.Welcome to the forum.
