new to honda

Default new to honda

hi im new to honda. i just bought a 2005 honda civic SI hatchback,5 speed, DOHC I-V TECH, i have no idea what v tech or dohc or the I means so could someone explain what this means? it is a 2.0 liter engine. any tips and trickcs would also be helpful and appreciated. will try to get some pics soon.

Also DOHCstands for"Dual OverHead Cams". your motor has 2 camshafts. Honda also makes SOHC (Single Overhead Cams) engines which have only 1 camshaft.
