Yo whats up peeps, I just bought me a 96 civic lx 4dr. Its my first stick and I am enjoying every bit of it.

but I have already started the planning for modding it. I know I am gonna start of with suspension and breaks first, I was looking at the tokico blues, they were good priced but I wanted to know how is the ride quality for a daily driver, this car will only auto crossed probley once or twice a month.

and where should i look at for upgrading my breaks also.

Hopefully by next summer I will have saved up enough money to do the engine swap I want.

I was looking at the b18c1 but i settled for the b16a2, I don't want to go forced induction i want to run N/A, and I want it to atleast be able to push 185 hp no problems possible 190.

So if you have any suggestions let me know I am very open minded.

sorry here ya go will get better pics soon. need help on what kind of rims to get that will fit well with the paint job.

next week i will be buying front and rear strut brace bar and tie bars for it, then the tein s-techs. its gonna be a fun little car i am already enjoying it.

i have taking the small white little stripes off didn't like it, and i am gonna repaint the molding to they are really faded.

 

i never seen this color before 8-O i had to paint my moldings too...
i personally would do some black rims with a polished lip...

And for trim i would suggest color matching your trim and door handles to match the car... Would definately look cleaner than black IMO.

Rims.... hmmmm.... I dont know whaat color would go best with the car either lol

 

That's your opinion. I think pinstripes from factory are fine. As long as they match the car.

 

tokico blues are a good choice! you never see dookie brown that much.

 

lol i just found out its not a stock paint job, the car used to be green looked at the engine bay lol. but i like the color for that fact no one has seen it and its brown, i call the car brown sugar lol.

i was thinking black rims, and if i can figure out the right name for the color i just might paint the molding and handles the same color.
