Default New to honda's

Hi I recently bought a 97 civic dx hatch as my daily driver to replace my busted *** 93 Mazda 929. It has a b18(c i belive) from a 97 integra gsr, along with the transmission, brakes and interior from the same. 6 puck pro clutch, Greddy exhaust, Short ram intake, 2000 SI front bumper, and guages. CF hood and spoiler, r1 coilovers, bronze circuit rotas. As far as I can tell this car was done right, the owner only parted becuase he just bought a house and had a kid, plus he worked at a body shop so it is super clean.
I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I know very little about honda's, I chose this car becuase I only paid a little over what a bone stock civic of the same year and mileage would have costs me, so why not have a little fun while im at it? Also i needed better fuel economy and reliability. I have past experience with Mazda's, i have an 91 RX-7 N?A that is on the back burner right now. I've had a protege and my 929, and my dad owns a new Mazda 3 5door. I prefer FR cars but with indiana winters its not really pratical, and this little car is growing on me, expecially considering i shead about 1200 lbs from my previous vehicle :0

I'll be strapped for cash untill i pay it off (hopefully in 6 months or less) so i cant do much right now (not that it needs it) But its in desperate need of a new stereo system.

Only question, anyone have any recomendations for some winter tires, currently have 3 seasons on the rotas.

Welcome aboard! Sounds like a fun little setup you got there.

As for snow tires. Yokohama makes a fantastic line of winter tires. I've used two different kinds (IG10 last year, K2 this year) and have been more than satisfied with both. The IG10's honestly made my Jetta handle like it was awd, I couldnt get the back end to bust out unless i REALLY went for it.

Anyway, hope this helps, good luck!
