just push the clutch to the floor when shifting, don't rest your foot on the clutch pedal when driving, and shift slow (until you get confortable)

oh yeah and welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the help, it sounds simple the whole concept, but the whole not looking down at the diagram and trying to find the right gear sounds hard and down shifting eeek, anywho thanks for the welcome, I found some pics of the car I am getting not the exact one, but same color year and model.

Really do not get your panties in a bunch. it is not a big deal the first time I drove a manual on the road I came home and I have a horrible rash on my arm and back, because I got myself so worked up. Do not be like me. so just let it flow and do not be worried. welcome to the forum.

first and the most hardest thing to do is to get the car moving from a dead stop. To get it going, rev the car up tp about 3000rpms, and VERY slowly lift up the clutch pedal, as ur letting the clutch out, you will feel where it 'grabs' and you will notice that your rpm start to drop at that time give it a little bit more gas while at the same time slowly letting the clutch. Hope that helps, once you get that down the rest is a lot easier.
