Im new to HCF but i have had my 1997 Civic EX for over a year now. I love this car. Ive been always know as a DIY sort of guy. So im trying to start doing this to my car. I like making it my own. Just this last summer we had some flooding and my car got some of it. luckily the only problems to come out of that was my SRS light wont go off and my A/C is shot. This got my to start putting money in my car. When that started i felt i should put more work and effort to make this car really nice. So far i ripped out the interior and cleaned everything. I installed a stereo system ie head unit, 4 speakers, sub, and an amp. Also got a cat back exhaust. looking to get new headers, cat, and a short ram or cold are intake in the near future. Not sure where to go from there. I guess thats why im on here. Eventually i'm going to update the body with a paint job and a body kit. I was thinking black and red paint. but thats what i got so far!

Post some pics up of your Civic please and Im scared by the fact you said "bodykit." They always NEVER look good on civics and I recommend you stay away from the.

 

I agree. I have a particular look i want to go far. Most of the front end body kits look too gaudy. The kombat back bumper don't look too bad.
