Hey all...just wanted to quick intro myself. My name is Jason, living just outside of Philly. I've been driving a lifted Ford Explorer for years (if you commute on 276 during rush hour, you've probably seen me). Anyway, I finally bought a 2000 Civic EX coupe to be my commuter car (saving me $1,400 a year in fuel with gas at $2.75 a gallon). Not looking to mod it at all because I want it to save me money and not cost me money, but I wanted to get on the forums because I already have some questions.

My first quick question, while I'm posting this thread and so I don't have to start one for such a trivial question - where should the tire iron be located in the car? I don't see one with the spare or the jack in the trunk. Just want to be sure I'm not missing it before I go buy one.

Welcome...but some mods like air intake and exhaust can give you better gas mileage.

 

Welcome to the forum Jason, hope you like your car, as for the question, I believe It's in the trunk under the trunk board along with the spare, If no spare or jack, then the previous owner probably removed them. Hope to see you around!

 

mine is with my spare and my jack in the trunk.
