Hello all! New to the forums here with a new (to me) Civic. A little vehicle history real quick for ya
When I was 16 I got a 1992 Honda Prelude. This car went through everything from full body kit, custom paint, wheels, stereo, blah blah. It is now returned to stock aside from Accord rims and a little something under the hood! I swapped the H23A1 for an H23A3 DOHC VTEC out of an EU Accord Wagon a few years ago. 8 years later I still own it and still drive it daily. Love this car to death and will swear it was one of the best Hondas every built!
To go along with the 4th gen Prelude, in....2004? I bought a 1998 Prelude S. This became the garage baby the 4th gen pulling the daily chores. I spent all of my time keeping it clean and only adding JDM fog lights. I recently traded it in for my 8th gen Civic but figured it still deserved a spot in my garage section here. I loved the 5th gen to death and it was a blast to drive. It had around 120,000 miles when I traded it in and still looked like it came off the showroom floor
So now I own a 2006 Honda Civic EX-Navi. Black...tinted windows...and spotless. It has 43,000 miles on it now. My goal with this Civic is the same as it was with the 5th gen Prelude. Keep it clean, keep it stock. The tan interior is spotless and i'm hoping to keep it that way, lol.
Anyway. I'm VERY happy with this Civic. I miss my Prelude but I think it's replacement is just as good

Thanks! It really is a fun motor. I didn't intend on getting it, I was waiting for an H22 when the guy called me and told me they got one in. I was pretty fortunate that I have not had any gremlins with it either after the swap. Just an occasional tach bounce
