Hey guys im a new owner of a 1990 Civic hatch DX
and im looking for ideas so please give me some suggestions

no no pics yet its not running right now i need a new head gasket new valves and itts outta time badly

i wanna do motor work 1st

For the money you'll [probably] end up paying for the work you listed (unless you do your own wrenching), you'd be better off/happier in the end if you just did something simple like an SI head swap or a fairly inexpensive swap like a ZC.

I was thinking an SI head i found 1 on ebay but its a 1.6 liter and my hatch is a 1.5 so will it work

might want to get that headgaskit dun fast...lots of possiblitlys for the motor, if you wanted to do a swap check out the swap section near the bottom of the forum

dude go to your local salvage yard and pull a head for about $70 then take it to a local shop and have tham p n p it for about $350 get a Greddy steel gasket from andysautosports.com and have the whole thing installed or add a cam and be done with it!!! then start on intake then exhaust then fuel and igniton!!! Where do you guys grt your Info please lemme know cuz ??? on all the advice!!!
