Default new ride

I am looking at purchasing a civic. From what I have been reading they are reliable, and cheap to maintain. I was wanting to get a 99 or newer. But it seems to me were I live that they are hard to come by with low mileage anywhy. The ones that I have found are fairly high in price. So wondering if this is true everywhere. I have been quote '05 sedan LX for $15,300. Your opinions and is this a good price for a new one.

welcome to hcf. i was born in 79 too. you read right about hondas being reliable and cheap to maintain. they are second almost to none as far as reliability goes. and extremely simple to work on if that is your thing. one thing you do not need to worry too much about though is the mileage or the year. if you get a honda that was cared for any year is good. hondas routinely go over 300,000 miles with routine maintenance. just check these testimonials on this link.

hope this gives you a good idea of how you can buy any civic you want if you make sure it was well cared for by a good examination from a mechanic you know. go to edmunds.com for good car pricing on new and used civics. f.y.i.
