I'm a new guy in san deigo, nothing intresting, except i dont own a honda Then what the hell am i doing here? Well, currently I have 2 cars, my 1999 Mustang GT, and my 1995 Ford escort Wagon. Now, the wagon is only temporary, since we plan on giving it to a family member who really needs it, down side is, thye are far away, so it will have to wait till next summer at the earliest.

I currently DD the escort since it is nothing fancy and fuel efficient, my mustang drinks gas when it goes to city driving, and worry about it constantly(we have some pretty bad drivers here)

So why am i here? Well, i figured after giving away the wagon, to pick up another DD(it is awsome having a commuter car, and a "fun" car btw) I have recently worked on a friends honda(hes a meber on here), we were redoing an his exhuast since it was so loud, and i was suprised as to how easy it was to work on. i was sorta hooked then odd thing is, i have always been a long time honda hater, guess thats chaing a bit. still dont like accords or civic, but their are two honda i wouldnt mind owning.

I plan on eventually getting either a Prelude or a Del Sol after we give away the station wagon, since i want something fuel efficent to drive, but that is also sporty-ish and rather nice. So i'm here to soak up some information on these to cars, and to get a feel about maybe owning a honda.

The accord in the backround is my parents, so there is 1 honda at my house also, i know Mustang's and Civics don't usually get along, but I didint come here to be an *******, so don't be one back because i prefer American to Import

 

btw, do you guys meet up and do cruises n such, us mustang guys do, just curious if you did the same?

thats a nice looking stang. IMO i like the prelude, front end doesnt look too bad and with the oem optional lip kit, that thing looks sweet. BTW... welcome to HCF, most members on here owns civics and el sol. so you probably wont get much info about preludes and accords.

ya, there are a lot of good picture spots, and i think del sols are cool, i like the looks and the rarity

its all good, i dont plan on doing any serious performance mods, if any, i would just do apperance to make it look good

Guess your gonna get a Del Sol huh? I'll def. help you with it. Just get some nice rims, lower it, get a nice sounding exhuast, HIDs, Lip, etc.

 

no exhaust, i dont like the 4 banger sound, ill just pait the exhaust so it isn't noticeable, or just put a tipe on
