I just bought a 2001 civic and i was driving it yesterday and the clutch went out. so not a very good experience. i was wondering it someone could run my vin for me b/c i just spent all my money on the car and now a new clutch it would be very helpful thank you !

yeah i have no clutch. is it really that much labor putting in the clutch b/c my friend works for a transmission place for a while and hes going to do it as a side job for 400 bucks is that a pretty good price

Try Checking the brake fluid in your clutch. Mine went out... and that's what I had to do.

$400!!!! **** no....that's pretty expensive this is a honda man you should be able to install it yourself using the how to's. If you dont want to install it then look around and ask for prices...also price will depend on what kind of clutch you choose to get installed.

i'm just putting in a oem clutch and i rather have someone thats knows how to do it

ya check the brake fluid in the resovor first.... your clutch might be good... are you sure its gone out? whats the symptoms?

oh yeah we took it out today totally bare metal on one side. and now ihave to get my flywheel resurfaced.

well at least after you get it replaced you KNOW your good for along time!

theres no I WONDER HOW MUCH LONGER IT WILL LAST.
i kinda laugh at my friend with her manual bmw since she has no idea how good it is or when it will go bad and be a HORIBLE repair bill!
