Default Newb, hi to all....

Hi, looks like a Nice forum, with thousands of cool members.....got my order in for my '06 Si with my local dealer, saw lots of nice pics in your gallery, not sure when I'll get mine yet, hopefully by Christmas, but wanted to start preparing for it now....1st thing I want to do is cosmetic mods, I love carbon fiber and want to paint the s&^! out of the interior....where does everyone get theirs painted, like dor panels, dash, console, plastic trim...I figure if you paint it all, no one can make fun of how the plastic in your ride looks.....they all look bad....I saw some stuff in DIY section on DupliColor, but not sure about my skills there, I've painted panels before, al I can say is runs, drips, and errors.......is there any special, expert place you send it too, or do you just take it to your local auto painter....ok, and give me some flack for getting a new Si, you know you want o....PolarBear

[sm=welcomesign.gif] im not sure about painting all that stuff cuz i've never done it but if u rattle can it the right way, it'll look pretty good and save u money. if u do paint it, try not to go to over board, then u probably will get some crap from ppl. post some pics when u get it! have fun and good luck with everything!

Hey! Congratulations on the new Si. Im jealous! I wanted to sell my Si and put it as a down payment for a brand new one, but I'm trying to save money to move out! Im trying to re-do my interior soon too (paint, seats). But I dont want it to look ricey. Just nicer than the stock gray plastic that came on mine. Anyway..good luck! There are tons of people who have a lot of experience here and will help you with everything!

Hey PolarBear, welcome, ignore the comments from the surly noob. We have a few other '06 owners around here already. As far as painting your interior, I think Mossy is the guy to talk to.

welcome to the forum!![sm=hiya.gif] ya ignore what the one guy said, thats not how we welcome people on here, and you will never really see that crap in this forum..but here are some pics of interiors i have, i did my full interour in my sunbird, and i meen full, the only thing that wasent changed was the carpit..but i dont no about doing it to a 06, i would have to get some perfession to do the painting just because its so new, im afraid to screw up my 2000 civic interiour, thats why i just stuck with the accents
